HOW WE DO BUSINESS
The most fruitful business relationships start with a simple conversation, the understanding of one’s business followed by a frank discussion of the problems encountered. HexagonEC begins each project with an in-depth discussion about more than the problem at hand, but also about the business as a whole. Just as there are six facets to marketing that must be balanced, marketing plugs into the six major facets of business. To truly deliver an effective solution, HexagonEC invests the time to understand the business of our clients and deliver solutions which can be accepted and leveraged by other areas of the organization.
After an initial meeting to understand the size and scope of the current need, HexagonEC will deliver a proposal for review – a proposal which demonstrates our suggested solution to the stated problem, but also offers suggestions for further optimization. This is part of the HS3 process – delivering a truly balanced solution for any problem encountered. We do not expect our clients to engage in projects outside the scope of their need, we simply want to provide a more holistic solution to a problem than a simple checklist of deliverables.
Once we have presented our proposal and explained each element to the client, we begin breaking down the problem into distinct segments which can be focused on and solved while always ensuring each solution integrates seamlessly with the rest of the project. As the work progresses we schedule regular update meetings with our clients so they are continually informed and can provide us with new developments or perspective resulting from the constant state of change in their business.
Once the project is complete, we present our results along with metrics and analysis so the client can understand what was successful and what needs to be evolved. If the project is a one-off for a client we contact the client after enough time has passed so that results can be measured over time. We believe simply dropping deliverables on a desk does not constitute true consulting.
