to Project Management Information
Customized Client Portals Designed to Increase Transparency for Clients
Boulder, CO, USA – June 22nd, 2007 – HexagonEC, a global marketing consulting and services firm, announced today the launch of the HexagonEC Client Center. Customized, client-centric portals accessible in real-time, the HexagonEC Client Center is designed to increase the transparency between HexagonEC and clients. Providing access to account information, invoicing history, proposals and up-to-date project files for current projects, the HexagonEC Client Center allows clients to ensure projects are moving in the optimal direction, regardless of changes in the market or corporate strategy.
“Having worked with consultants and marketing services firms in the past, the largest challenge was always ensuring projects were on track or adjusting them when changes occurred in the organization,” commented Eric Boelts, Principal, HexagonEC. “In order to remove that barrier we created the HexagonEC Client Center, a portal designed to give clients as clear a view of our internal processes and project management as possible. We believe that clients should have as much visibility into our work as if we were employees.”
When a client initiates a project or contract with HexagonEC, they are provided log-on details for accessing their customized client portal. Once logged on, the client has the ability to update contact information, review outstanding invoices, comment on outstanding proposals and also review and provide feedback on current project management files. As the usage of the Client Center is tracked and evaluated, more functionality and information will be added per client’s requests, to ensure the Client Center serves as a centralized location not only for doing work with HexagonEC, but also for gathering information on the latest marketing trends.
“The clients we beta-tested the Client Center with were extremely positive with their feedback,” stated Mr. Boelts. “While the any-time access was beneficial, the true power was in being able to fine-tune projects as the organization evolved or strategies changed.
